This Department and its Sub-offices does Registration of various Testamentary and Non-testamentary documents relating to sale, lease, mortgage, partition, gift,will etc.
Procedure for registration of documents by Online appointment
- Application submission through the e-Pathirapathivu portal and book appointment after Online payment of Regsitration fees
- Purchase of e-Stamp through Stock Holding Corporation of India(SHCIL) Counters
- Presentation before the Sub-registrar in the booked appointment date & time along with the relevant documents for scrutiny
- Photo and Finger print capturing of Claimant, Executant & Witnesses
- Regularization of document by the Sub-Registrar
- Generation of Endorsment page, affixing Registration seals and signature of the sub-registrar
- Scanning of the Registered Documents
- Return of the Registered documents to the parties
